
Overview
The Commodities Settlements Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing support across physical and financial commodity settlements. The overall objective of this role is to support traders, perform invoicing and payments, and improve process efficiency in overall workflow of settlements. You will have the opportunity to recommend creative suggestions on how to improve processes to minimize losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risk to better serve our clients. Responsibilities
Accurate and timely processing of invoicing/payments of all transactions and according to their legal agreements
Ensure invoices are reconciled, processed and paid on time
Provide in depth analysis of variances between booked and client amounts, and work with schedulers and traders to resolve any discrepancies
Provide support to Front Office Sales and Trading for all commodity settlement related queries
Escalation and resolution of settlement cash breaks
Identify control deficiencies, resolve issues and escalate control gaps and issues to senior management when appropriate
Contribute to bank change projects and the development of new techniques to improve processes and workflows
Ensure procedures/process improvement are appropriately updated and documented
Provide informal/formal leadership for the team, and coach and train new recruits, and provide guidance and support to junior staff

Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in a related role
Relevant Degree or equivalent experience
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Attention to detail and intermediate problem-solving skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Primary location: Houston, Texas, United States. Salary range: $87,360.00 - $131,040.00. Anticipated posting close date: Feb 16, 2026.
