Zing | ? $70,000–$85,000/year Zing is seeking a Specialist, Product Stewardship to support product safety, global regulatory compliance, and sustainability across our growing fragrance portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in product stewardship or regulatory affairs who enjoys translating complex regulations into clear, business-ready guidance in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for raw material status, product safety evaluations, and regulatory compliance Apply global compliance requirements across Zing’s fragrance portfolio, ensuring alignment with IFRA standards, customer requirements, and chemical regulations Monitor emerging regulatory trends, NGO watchlists, and retailer “clean” standards to proactively identify future risks Support evaluation of raw materials against consumer goods and personal care standards Translate technical regulatory and safety information into actionable guidance for internal stakeholders Review customer-specific restricted substance lists (RSLs), blacklists, and technical standards for fragrance formulations Coordinate regulatory documentation, safety reviews, and clearance milestones under commercial timelines Help improve internal stewardship workflows, tools, and processes as the organization scales Collaborate cross-functionally to embed regulatory, safety, and sustainability considerations early in product development Maintain accurate and organized compliance and safety documentation Required Qualifications
Background in Product Stewardship, Regulatory Affairs, Global Compliance, or related functions within Cosmetics, Personal Care, Fragrance, or Flavor Working knowledge of IFRA, RIFM, and global chemical regulations relevant to consumer products Strong ability to interpret regulatory data and communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders Highly organized with strong attention to detail and data integrity Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Preferred Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Cosmetic Science, or related scientific discipline 3+ years of relevant experience Experience engaging with suppliers on traceability, raw material documentation, or sustainability disclosures Familiarity with compliance requirements across multiple regions (EU, US, Asia) Compensation
$70,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience.
