Small Business Relationship Manager Starting Salary: $66,964.91 to $83,706.13/annually, actual pay will be based on experience.

Status: Need to physically be present in the Syracuse market, some ability to work from home

The Position: Consistent with the credit union mission of providing our members the right financial services to live life, dream big and achieve financial success, the Small Business Relationship Manager will: Focus on acquiring new members by promoting and selling credit union products and services. Expand existing credit union business member relationships by cross selling business products and services, deepening deposit relationships, and encouraging product usage. Collaborate with Financial Center personnel as the subject matter expert while making joint calls on existing and prospective members in order to grow the credit union’s business memberships. Maintain relationships with strategic centers of influence, but internal and external, in order to effectively deepen the member experience as their trusted advisor.

As a Small Business Relationship Manager your primary responsibilities will be to:

Engage prospective and current members through sales calls, needs discovery, and tailored product recommendations

Build community relationships through networking, cross‑selling, and promotion of AmeriCU’s full suite of services

Lead and participate in Financial Center meetings, training, and joint calls to enhance consultative selling skills

Gather, review, and evaluate borrower information to support underwriting and ongoing business relationships

Identify cross‑sell opportunities and generate new business with existing members

Develop Centers of Influence and referral pipelines through training and community engagement

Drive business growth by facilitating deposits, cash management, merchant services, insurance, wealth management, and SBA‑related solutions
