Job Description
The Assistant Brand Marketing Manager primarily supports the execution of marketing programs that promote Pilot’s energy and fuel offerings, including wholesale fuels, alternative fuels, as well as credit and billing solutions for fleet customers. This role also requires engaged collaboration with stakeholders across the business. This position reports to the Manager, Brand Marketing and is based in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Essential Job Function
Support the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns related to wholesale fuels, fleet solutions for small & medium sized fleets, and alternative fuels
Maintain campaign calendars and timelines, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders
Collaborate with energy stakeholders, sales teams, and others to develop marketing materials
Write creative briefs and provide ongoing feedback to ensure output supports intended outcomes
Assist in developing materials for trade shows, sponsorships, and industry partnerships
Ensure brand standards are consistently applied across marketing materials
Partner with internal legal counsel to clear and substantiate marketing materials prior to launch
Work under a moderate degree of direction
Support additional marketing projects as required by the business
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred
Two years’ experience in a brand marketing role is preferred
