Summary The Market Manager position is a fast‑paced role responsible for staffing, training, and motivating part‑time Adult Beverage Brand Ambassadors to drive execution through one‑to‑one consumer engagement occasions for an assigned market. The role handles final interviewing and hiring, manages all aspects of training and development, ensures completion of all reports and deliverables, and oversees overall performance to meet program goals and metrics. Focus is on building client relationships and driving measurable activation results through outstanding execution.

Responsibilities Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages all aspects of Brand Ambassador team including recruitment, training, weekly event execution, and reporting
Ensures Brand Ambassadors are properly equipped with merchandise and materials needed to execute sampling events
Regularly travels in market for BA development, activation audits, and performance reviews
Overall performance management of Brand Ambassadors, providing direction, guidance, and support as necessary
Develops employees for career advancement and succession planning
Drives professional and value‑oriented relationships with key wholesaler/client field management teams to sustain positive relationships
Uses reports and presentations to highlight success and improvement areas relative to program execution, including performance objectives, competitive intelligence, market initiatives, wins, losses, opportunities, and challenges
Collaborates with support and agency operations teams on report development, event execution, financial control, and coverage model revisions
Conducts weekly conference calls with District Manager to communicate program updates and strategic priorities
Manages budget for assigned geographic area to maximize revenue and profit while maintaining a safe work environment to reduce workman’s compensation claims
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or manager related to the position or department
Communicates daily/weekly with Brand Ambassadors via WhatsApp and conducts local team conference calls for program updates
Maintains a highly visible presence in designated accounts within the assigned territory
Delegates work of others and provides guidance, direction, and mentoring to indirect reports
Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company‑wide processes, tools, and resources
Ensures travel and driving are performed as essential duties, with travel up to 50% of the time
Complies with environmental and physical requirements: primarily office/sedentary environment, may require lifting up to 10 lbs
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
2–4 years of experience in brand activation, field operations, or related field
Preferred experience in the alcohol or beverage industry
Experience working in an agency, retail, consumer packaged goods, or consumer electronics environment
Proven success in execution and evaluation of sampling programs
Demonstrated ability to recruit, interview, and train Brand Ambassadors
Experience creating weekly schedules with specific parameters for execution
Experience approving team events, recaps, and payroll systems
Strong team‑player skills and ability to collaborate with others
Capacity to work in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment and adapt to change
Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse audiences and effective use of various communication methods
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines
