Marketing Assistant

Primary responsibilities will include:

Provide daily administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the marketing department

Assist with scheduling, calendar management, meeting coordination, and deadline tracking

Maintain organized digital files, project folders, and shared resources

Update internal trackers, spreadsheets, and reporting tools

Support leadership with task follow-ups, documentation, and project coordination

Assist with drafting, editing, and generating content for social media and website updates

Support the creation of marketing materials such as flyers, digital ads, signage, email campaigns, and basic collateral

Provide light graphic design support using templates and brand standards

Prepare simple presentations and visual assets with guidance from leadership

Help ensure brand consistency across all materials

Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of marketing campaigns

Support promotional and community events, including logistics, materials, and on-site coordination as needed

Track event timelines, deliverables, and inventory of supplies

Help coordinate vendors, venues, and internal teams

Conduct basic market research and summarize findings

Assist in gathering and organizing campaign performance data

Update reports related to website traffic, social engagement, and campaign metrics

Maintain marketing databases and contact lists

Serve as a point of support for internal teams on marketing-related requests

Assist with external communications when needed, including community partners and vendors

Maintain a professional, responsive, and helpful tone in all communications

Support relationship-building initiatives

Help identify ways to improve organization, efficiency, and workflows

Support documentation of processes and best practices

Assist with special projects as assigned

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or experience in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is a plus

1–2 years of experience in an administrative, marketing, communications, or support role preferred, but not required

Driver’s license is required for this position.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and follow-through

Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools

Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content posting

Experience with basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar) is a plus

Comfortable learning new systems and tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Professional, friendly, and responsive communication style

Ability to interact with internal teams, vendors, and community partners

Able to work flexible, part‑time hours

Willingness to assist with occasional in‑person events or campaigns

Self‑motivated with a proactive mindset

Adaptable and comfortable in a fast‑moving environment
