
Butler Machinery Company, a leading Ag and Heavy Equipment dealership with over 70 years in the industry, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Specialist with an emphasis on Aftermarket Marketing (Parts, Service & Support). In this role, you’ll help drive parts and service growth, support our Ag and Heavy Equipment eCommerce platforms, and execute promotional campaigns that deepen customer engagement and strengthen aftermarket revenue. The ideal candidate brings strong digital marketing experience, a solid understanding of email automation best practices, and a proactive, adaptable approach to campaign execution.
This position is based in our corporate office in Fargo, ND and requires regular, in-office presence. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this role.
Key Responsibilities Campaign Strategy, Planning, and Management
Develop and implement marketing strategies that support business objectives for Parts, Service, and After‑Sales Support.
Participate in annual marketing planning and utilize project management software to coordinate and track marketing projects.
Manage campaign cycles, executing shorter‑run promotions with quick turnarounds as needed.
Define and optimize target audiences, personas, and value propositions.
Set aftermarket‑driven marketing goals, objectives, and timelines.
Plan and execute integrated multi‑channel campaigns.
Monitor campaign performance, optimize results, and evaluate MROI.
Leverage automation tools to streamline campaigns and scale automated email sequences.
Website Development and Management
Oversee continuous improvements of aftermarket content across the company website.
Conduct keyword research to support stronger SEO performance.
Update and optimize product landing pages to improve conversions.
Ensure alignment between eCommerce promotions and aftermarket strategic priorities.
Customer Journey Mapping
Plan and create content that aligns with customer journey stages post sale.
Utilize user‑generated content to enhance authenticity and engagement.
Social Media and Content Management
Develop and manage content calendars supporting aftermarket promotions.
Execute organic and paid social strategies aligned with parts and service initiatives.
Use social listening tools to engage with customers and identify aftermarket opportunities.
Pricing and Programming Support
Optimize landing pages and calls to action for aftermarket promotions.
Support pricing strategies, loyalty programs, and service initiatives.
Assist in driving adoption of eCommerce platforms and digital buying paths.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Proven experience in digital marketing, SEO, and email marketing.
Familiarity with automation tools such as HubSpot, Parsio, Zapier, or equivalent(s).
Experience in website, keyword, and SEO best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to set goals, define strategies, and execute marketing plans effectively.
Experience with social media management and digital content creation.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing performance and optimize strategies.
