We’re hiring a Junior–Mid Email & Creative Strategist to work at the intersection of lifecycle and creative strategy. We’re seeking a

Junior–Mid Email & Creative Strategist

to join our fast-growing team. This is a hybrid role designed for someone equally excited by lifecycle strategy and creative strategy — and eager to build deep expertise across both.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong email fundamentals and a sharp creative instinct who aspire to grow into a

strategic, client-facing leader

over time. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders across email, creative, and account management to design, brief, and deliver high-impact email and creative programs for a portfolio of e-commerce brands.

While the role starts execution-heavy, it offers a

clear path to strategic ownership and leadership , providing exposure to client strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to shape how creative and lifecycle strategy come together at scale. This is not a siloed role — it’s designed for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creative, and performance.

Key Responsibilities Email Strategy & Lifecycle Ownership

Support the development of email strategies aligned to client growth targets and broader business goals

Create clear, actionable briefs for email campaigns and lifecycle flows

Ensure email programs are structured intentionally (flows, campaigns, cadence, segmentation, messaging)

Lead email-specific strategic thinking across accounts, from onboarding to ongoing optimization

Leverage performance insights to guide testing, prioritization, and lifecycle iteration

Integrate email strategy with broader marketing channels (paid, site, creative)

Contribute to cross-channel creative strategies aligned with brand positioning and performance goals

Define creative roadmaps for clients, including campaign themes, testing priorities, and sequencing over time

Support hook development and testing frameworks informed by audience insights and funnel stage

Partner with designers, editors, and producers to translate ideas from concept → brief → execution → launch

Ensure creative consistency across email, paid media, and lifecycle touchpoints

Use performance insights to inform creative iteration and future testing

Client-Facing Responsibilities

Own email and creative strategy portions of client calls

Present recommendations, performance updates, and next steps for lifecycle and creative initiatives

Partner with account leads and department heads to align strategy with overall account priorities

Build trust through preparation, clarity, and ownership

Serve as a

strategic thought partner , not just an executor

Execution & Delivery

Collaborate with execution teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation

Build flows and campaigns correctly within platforms like Klaviyo

QA work to ensure the strategy is executed as intended

Manage priorities across multiple accounts without sacrificing quality

Maintain high standards for both strategic thinking and execution

Growth & Ownership

Take on increasing responsibility across email and creative strategy over time

Contribute ideas to improve scalability, processes, and quality across the department

Help define how creative and lifecycle strategy collaborate as the team evolves

Grow into a hybrid strategy leadership role, with flexibility to lean deeper into creative or lifecycle

Candidate Requirements

1–3 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, creative strategy, or adjacent roles

Hands‑on experience with email platforms (Klaviyo preferred)

Strong interest in both creative strategy and performance‑driven marketing

Comfortable balancing execution with higher-level strategic thinking

Confident, professional communicator and client‑facing experience preferred

Strong organizational skills, initiative, and sense of ownership

Curious, proactive, and motivated to grow into a strategic role

Agency experience and e‑commerce experience are a plus, but not required

Email programs are consistently structured, high‑quality, and thoughtful

Work scales effectively without sacrificing quality

Trusted to own scope and deliver results independently

Gradual transition into deeper strategic responsibilities, shaping the email/creative function
