As a Brand Ambassador at our future Madison Avenue flagship, you are not just selling beautifully crafted jewelry, you are shaping the client’s journey into the world of MARLI New York. Your mission is to deliver the highest level of service, establish lasting client relationships, and elevate every moment on the boutique floor. With a sharp eye, refined presence, and a passion for storytelling and styling, you transform encounters into loyalty and enduring connections.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Experience & Relationship Building
Deliver a personalized, intuitive client experience that feels both effortless and memorable.
Build a loyal client base through thoughtful follow-up (calls, messages, handwritten notes) and proactive appointment setting.
Introduce clients to new creations and invite them to private events, creating anticipation and ongoing engagement.
Brand Storytelling & Selling Excellence
Bring the MARLI New York universe to life (present key collections, highlight craftsmanship and features, and tailor your narrative to each client’s desires).
Identify client needs, curate selections with intention, and use elevated selling techniques to drive conversion and long-term value.
Proven ability to style clients with confidence and creativity, transforming personal taste into a distinctive and elevated expression.
Maintain a consistently positive, energetic presence that enhances the boutique atmosphere.
Operational Precision
Ensure flawless boutique operations: process transactions accurately, complete shipment/transfer procedures efficiently, and uphold impeccable visual standards.
Monitor stock levels and inventory accuracy, communicating needs promptly to keep the floor beautifully merchandised.
Balance multiple priorities smoothly in a fast-paced environment without compromising elegance or attention to detail.
Team Collaboration & Boutique Performance
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, peers, and management to support a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
Partner with leadership to support initiatives and events that elevate the boutique experience and drive business results.
Contribute to achieving (and surpassing) weekly, quarterly, and annual boutique goals, while consistently meeting personal sales objectives.
Bring curiosity, reliability, and flexibility to support the expectations of a luxury retail business.
REQUIREMENTS
3–4 years of luxury retail experience, ideally within fine jewelry.
Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals and cultivate meaningful client relationships.
Passion for storytelling, refinement in communication, and a natural ability to connect with diverse clientele.
Full-time presence required at the MARLI New York Madison Avenue Boutique.
