This project spans fine dining, a high‑end bar program, and a complementary retail component, all driven by a shared creative and operational vision.
We are seeking a
PR Manager
to serve as the primary communications lead on the ground in NYC. This role is central to a major opening moment and is designed for someone who wants to build something meaningful, execute at a high level, and grow with the brand long‑term.
You will work closely with a seasoned, globally experienced leadership team while owning day‑to‑day PR execution locally. This is a hands‑on role for a true executor—a solutions‑oriented and positive human who thrives on momentum, precision, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the
main PR point person in New York City , working in close partnership with a remote Director of Communications
Lead and execute all PR efforts for the launch and ongoing visibility of a fine dining restaurant, bar, and retail brand
Develop and manage media strategies across local and national outlets with a strong emphasis on food, beverage, hospitality, and culture
Own relationships with NYC and national press, including
direct, working knowledge of NYC critics
Coordinate press outreach, pitches, press materials, media visits, tastings, and opening moments
Ensure messaging, positioning, and execution align with the brand’s long‑term vision and standards
Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams and external partners as needed
Maintain a high level of organization, detail, and follow‑through in a fast‑moving environment
Qualifications
3+ years of experience
in a PR management role within food & beverage or hospitality
Agency experience or in‑house experience with a well‑regarded NYC F&B brand is non‑negotiable
Deep understanding of the
NYC dining and media landscape , including established relationships with relevant press
Fine dining experience strongly preferred; high‑end bar experience is a plus
A self‑starter who can operate independently while staying tightly aligned with leadership
Team‑oriented, humble, and hardworking—you care about the collective win as much as your own output
Highly detail‑oriented with a strong instinct for quality and consistency
Motivated by constant improvement and high standards
Marketing experience is a plus, but not required
