SUMMARY The Social Media Coordinator is supporting brand awareness initiatives across multiple healthcare companies by managing social media activity, creating engaging digital content, and providing management with high-level updates on performance and engagement. The Social Media Coordinator maintains the organization’s online presence through visual storytelling, audience interaction, and consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Plan, create, and publish engaging social media content (photos, videos, graphics, and captions) that align with brand standards.
Capture media at facilities, events, and community activities to highlight company culture and services.
Edit and produce videos and images for use across platforms, ensuring content quality and consistency.
Maintain a content calendar to schedule and coordinate posts for multiple brands.
Monitor engagement, track performance metrics, and provide the Marketing Manager with regular updates and insights.
Research social media trends, competitor strategies, and emerging tools to inform creative direction.
Support the Marketing Manager in maintaining brand consistency across all marketing materials.
Assist with newsletters, digital flyers, and other creative projects as needed.
Collaborate with marketing and facility teams to gather stories, photos, and content ideas.
Attend events, staff celebrations, and community activities to capture promotional content.
Perform other related tasks as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and audience engagement.
Knowledge of brand development and digital storytelling best practices.
Familiarity with photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative eye for photography, videography, and design.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and trends.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative marketing team.
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when filming in healthcare settings.
Ability to think proactively and identify opportunities for increased brand visibility
Ability to provide concise, high-level summaries and recommendations to management.
Ability to travel between facilities and attend events as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field
Two (2) years of experience in social media coordination, content creation, or marketing support
Valid Texas Driver’s License
