Description
Location: Essex County Sheriff's Department in Lynn, MA, supporting Transitions and Reentry, a Community-Based Reentry Program (STAR) that utilizes assessment, group treatment, and relationships with community services for justice-involved individuals.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-time
Pay rate: $80,000-$85,000 annually

The Clinical Director Is Responsible For
- Oversight of clinical and case management services at designated site or program(s)
- Ensuring clinical services align with Spectrum’s philosophy and evidence-based practices
- Collaborating with Contract Support Manager and ECSD management for smooth operation and quality service delivery
- Observing group facilitation and completing Group Quality Inventory to meet Spectrum standards
- Maintaining current clinical skills, competencies, licensure, and certification
- Working with Spectrum management to ensure seamless continuum of care across treatment modalities
- Providing orientation for new clinicians
- Ensuring interdisciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, and documentation per protocols
- Developing staff development and training plans
- Assisting with crisis management and emergencies
- Maintaining knowledge of emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Mental Health Counselor or similar license
- At least two years of supervisory experience in counseling (preferred)
- Minimum three years in behavioral health programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred)
- Ability to use independent judgment in problem-solving and emergencies
