Position Overview
We present an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager or Director, Health Economics & Value Communication (depending on prior relevant experience) to join our team. This is an ideal position for someone who:

- Lead complex projects / project teams, under regular supervision from Managing Partners;
- Oversee the design and development of research instruments, tools, project plans, and deliverables;
- Manage and support delivery of a variety of health economics and value /communication engagements, including:
- Reviewing payer / HTA positions, clinical guidelines and treatment pathways, published literature (including performing SLRs and meta-analysis or network meta-analysis), to identify key evidence and evidence gaps;
- Analyzing/ evaluating claims, survey and other quantitative data;
- Conceptualizing, developing, and validating health economic models (budget impact, cost-effectiveness, etc.), including interaction with clinicians to validate and publish results;
- Supporting design, execution and analysis of a variety of study designs based on Real-World Evidence (surveys, observational studies, medical resource utilization in studies, etc.);
- Leading and managing manuscript development for peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations;
- Leading preparation of global value dossiers that present the evidence-based value on innovative technologies to payers, HTAs and purchasers;
- Partnering with colleagues and external collaborators based in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific to meet client project objectives;
- Leading the development of findings and recommendations for client reports and presentations;
- Leading / participating in development of internal learning, development, and recruiting activities;
- Participating in business development including lead identification, sales pitches, proposal development and closing, identifying key next steps to propose to a client during ongoing research, and attending conferences/ networking events representing BeaconOne;
- Demonstrating commitment to internal and team-development, by staying abreast of emerging technical and policy and dynamics in the field of health economics, attending relevant meetings and conferences, taking coursework, etc.
- Supporting the Firm’s ability to build and maintain client relationships through outstanding client communication and project delivery.
Qualifications
- BA/BS, MS, PhD in life sciences, economics, public health, or related discipline.
- 5+ (Sr. Manager) to 6+ years (Director) prior consulting experience working in MedTech or biopharma health economics and value communication consulting. Prior MedTech consulting experience preferred
- Experience preparing and delivering final deliverables related to SLRs, evidence gap assessments, health economic models, value dossiers, and publications and/or health economics services offered at BeaconOne
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with other team members as well as external partners;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Outstanding attention to detail with strong written and spoken English;
- Ability to work and manage a team to meet internal and client required deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other relevant software capabilities;
- Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative but less structured team environment;
- Comfortable wearing many hats as one of the early members of a growing consulting firm;
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
