Sr. Manager - Email Marketing and Retention

The Senior Manager Email Marketing & Retention will lead the team responsible for the development, management, and optimization of BISSELL's email program-including promotional and launch campaigns, automated/behavioral sends, and highly personalized journeys. This person will have a customer-first mindset, with a deep understanding of the end-to-end customer journey and will be responsible for understanding who our customer is, what drives their behavior, and how best to turn a customer into a passionate brand advocate. This role will provide an understanding and expertise of email marketing, segmentation, personalization, analytics, and marketing technology and the development and execution of campaigns that drive increased engagement and conversion across the various customer lifecycles.


Develop and implement a comprehensive, best-in-class retention strategy with a primary focus on email marketing campaigns to engage, retain, and nurture existing customers.Manage a team of multiple direct reportsDevelop a testing framework and oversee implementation for our email communications to ensure continuous optimizationAssist in the development of email lifecycle strategy and create the vision for future email programsUnderstand our prospect and customer database, identify gaps and opportunities to increase conversion through personalization within the email channelDevelop segmentation strategies and maintain customer database health, integrity, and performanceAbility to produce creative strategy across the prospect and customer lifecyclePartner closely with cross-functional partners across Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications and our agency partnersSupervise and analyze channel performance, conduct A/B testingLeverage Performance Data to drive decision makingProvide recommendations based on trends and insights to Marketing, Product, and Design teamsFormulate strategies to grow our email database and engagementQualifications
