We are seeking a talented and commercially driven

Designer - Women's Sports & Apparel

to join a fast-growing business within the active and lounge categories. This role is responsible for creating innovative, brand-right product designs across sports bras, leggings, sport layers, and lounge apparel including fleece and sweaters.

The Designer will deliver commercially viable collections that align with overall business strategy and conceptual direction. This individual will demonstrate a strong understanding of style, color, print, fit, and fabric while upholding brand integrity and responding to evolving consumer needs. The ideal candidate combines trend acumen with technical precision and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

Create brand-right, commercially viable designs that reflect the seasonal conceptual direction and broader business strategy. Develop seasonal assortments with a strong focus on style, fit, fabric, and performance. Deliver product designs with speed, agility, and exceptional attention to detail. Adapt and refine designs based on feedback to ensure alignment prior to finalization. Research and interpret fashion trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform product innovation. Recommend and leverage internal and external resources to source new ideas and inspiration. Technical Execution

Execute detailed design sketches and prototypes. Develop comprehensive tech packs including construction details, drape, finishing techniques, and garment specifications. Ensure first prototypes are accurate and aligned with brand expectations. Update Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Centric and maintain accuracy throughout development. Update seasonal linesheets with sketches, color, and product details in collaboration with cross-functional partners. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Product Development, Color & Print, and Graphics teams throughout the design lifecycle. Present seasonal concepts and designs to leadership and cross-functional teams with clarity and confidence. Maintain strong, collaborative working relationships across departments to ensure seamless execution. Leadership & Project Management

Manage, mentor, and inspire junior design talent. Plan and prioritize workload to meet seasonal milestones and calendar deadlines. Ensure deliverables meet budget and timeline commitments without compromising design excellence. Demonstrate passion for the brand while driving accountability and high performance within the team. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field. Proven experience designing women's activewear, performance apparel, or lounge categories. Strong knowledge of fabrications, garment construction, fit, and performance attributes. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and PLM systems (Centric preferred). Strong technical design and sketching capabilities. Ability to interpret trend research and translate into commercially successful product. Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience mentoring or leading junior designers preferred. What We're Looking For
