Essential Functions and Supporting Duties: Prepares funding package for investor loans and VA Loan Guarantee package to VA. Works with investors to clears any pre-funding conditions and ensures the loan is funded prior to rate expiration date. Ensures accuracy of HMDA report each month. Assists home equity representatives with mortgage closing, as needed. Assists in preparing the Construction Modification documentation. Submits set-up file to DMI to initiate the boarding process onto DMI's servicing system and also into Synergy. Prepares closing instructions to be sent to the attorney to order title searches. Orders flood certifications Prepares commitment letters to be sent to members to notify them of their loan approval and any conditions. Corrects processing errors and coordinating information with attorneys. Provides payoff for all consumer loans and credit cards that will be paid from mortgage closing proceeds. Updates the mortgage software system to ensure all fees are properly disclosed to the borrower. Reviews title work provided by closing agents to ensure the Credit Union is properly insured for any possible title defects and to ensure that any items on title not threaten the Credit Union from maintaining their position as first lienholder. Prepares the Closing Disclosure and monitors borrower acknowledgement in order to ensure files are in compliance with TRID regulations. Coordinates any tolerance cures required to maintain TRID compliance. Prepares document packages for loan closings. Disburses loans and ensures the documents are received back from the closing agent. Qualifications and Requirements: Required Education:

Education equivalent to a four-year high school education plus some additional post-secondary technical course work Preferred Experience:

4 years of residential mortgage experience. Preferred Knowledge:

Prior knowledge of mortgage processing/origination, loan closing, and loan funding/disbursing is required. Knowledge of general office duties to include typing, answering phones, filing, customer service. Ability to operate a PC, calculator, fax machine, typewriter, printer and other job-related office equipment. Strong customer service skills to include telephone skills, well-organized and attentive to detail. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to maintain current knowledge of department changes, processes, and procedures.
