WRAL and FOX50-TV Account Manager
The WRAL and FOX50-TV Account Manager plays a vital role in driving revenue growth by connecting advertisers with our engaged audience of sports enthusiasts. You leverage your sales expertise and industry knowledge to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and deliver customized advertising solutions that meet their marketing objectives. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Sell television campaigns and digital/OTT/new media for WRAL and FOX50, and all digital platforms including WRAL.com. Generate revenue with new accounts by prospecting businesses. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals. Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients. Effectively research and cultivate new business clientele. Develop sales presentations to effectively present and position the television station during the sales process. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Persuasiveness, sales ability, results-oriented, ability to demonstrate consultative selling and team values. Excellent communication and presentation skills, computer proficiency required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous media/sponsorship sales experience preferred. Experience in media (1+ years) preferred. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Primarily office-based with frequent client meetings, both in-person and virtual. Occasional travel required for client visits, industry events, and conferences. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on client needs. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. for promotional materials and event setup.
