Sales Engineer Ess (Energy Storage Systems)

Sales Engineer Ess (Energy Storage Systems) will be the technical interface for our ESS solutions between our customers in the target segments (Fleet, Utility & Cargo, Rv, Ambulance, Public Safety) and internal team (R&D + Product Management) supporting the sales team in converting sales leads into growth. You will identify customer needs, propose tailored innovative solutions, and drive business growth in this rapidly evolving market. This position is located in Chicago, Il. Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures that: Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the target segments Identify customer challenges and propose solutions Collaborate with R&D, Product Management and Sales to develop application-specific solutions Lead technical discussions and support sales, product testing and validation processes Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new ESS business opportunities Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals Support new projects from concept to implementation Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures that: Self-starter Excellent interpersonal, negotiation skills with a professional demeanor. Solid sales and technical background Strong analytical acumen and used to working with structured reporting systems. Outstanding dealer management and new dealer development ability Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibility and effectively at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. Collaborative work style with strong relationship building skills Possess a high proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office and CRM products Requirement Profile: Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience: Degree in Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
