
Intake Specialist

We are seeking a talented Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for potential clients and play a critical role in converting inquiries into retained cases. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and strong judgment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion. What You Will Do
Serve as the first point of contact for the firm by answering incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries Conduct initial consultations and assess case viability based on firm criteria Gather, document, and verify essential client and accident information accurately Enter and maintain detailed client data in the firm's case management system Communicate clearly and compassionately with prospective clients during stressful situations Address general questions regarding the firm's services and intake process Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines Assist with marketing follow-ups and lead tracking Work efficiently in a monitored, performance-driven environment Role may include other relevant duties as assigned What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree highly preferred 12 years of customer service experience in an office environment Prior experience in legal intake, personal injury, customer service, or sales strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Familiarity with standard office administrative practices and procedures Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting Comfort working with productivity monitoring tools Positive, upbeat, and professional attitude Familiarity with legal terminology and case management systems is a plus Bilingual skills such as Spanish, Korean, or Chinese are highly preferred Why DK Law?
