The Customer Service Representative will interact with customers by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving concerns. A successful Customer Service Representative is committed to Service, Efficiency and Safety. Duties/Responsibilities:

Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services and serves as a liaison between customers and the company Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services Forwards customer questions and complaints to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff Field customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments Assist customers with filling propane cylinders at the bottle dock station Performs other related duties as assigned The absence of specific statements of duties does not exclude those tasks from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment of the position. Qualifications

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 3 years of customer service experience Experience in high-volume phone call settings highly preferred Experience in the oil and propane industry preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Service-oriented and the ability to resolve customer grievances Proficient with computer skills and the ability to learn and use current and new software Must be proficient with the current Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and utilize different software Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed in order to safely assist with duties around the plant Must pass pre-employment screening and background check Meritum Energy Holdings is an equal opportunity employer to all qualified applicants regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental ability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, status as a disabled veteran and/or veteran of the Vietnam War Era or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
