Automotive Parts Consultant
Join us as an Automotive Parts Consultant, where you will deliver exceptional service to retail and installer customers. This role supports store management in achieving their goals and encourages bilingual candidates to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and adhere to company customer service initiatives.
Warmly greet and assist walk-in customers in selecting automotive merchandise.
Support managers and installer service specialists in meeting the needs of professional clients.
Complete required company training applicable to your position.
Provide top-notch service to phone inquiries, accurately identifying parts, pricing, and recommending related items while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Manage cash transactions effectively while maintaining security of the cash drawer.
Handle exchanges and returns in accordance with company policies while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Address customer complaints with a positive attitude and resolve them efficiently.
Assist with maintaining store appearance, including stocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
Conduct daily operations such as processing merchandise returns and assisting with inventory adjustments.
Operate store test equipment after completing necessary training.
Perform in-store services for customers based on local regulations (such as wiper installation and battery testing).
Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle in accordance with business needs and company driving requirements.
Fulfill other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Strong multitasking abilities to assist customers both in-person and over the phone.
Preferred:
Knowledge of automotive parts, cataloging, and automotive sales or service.
ASE certification.
Fluency in additional languages, especially Spanish is a plus.
