Your Impact We are looking for an exceptional Channel Sales Engineer to join our team of super heroes. You will have the opportunity to be the partner interface of an exciting new technology.

Responsibilities

Support the technical sales process

Assist channel sales in prospecting to help uncover opportunities

Demonstrate solution to showcase capabilities and use-cases

Build and maintain a technical and trusted advisor relationship with partners. Support partners during solution trials.

Scope and architect solution deployments

Present to partner leadership and key decision makers

Participate as a member of the Solutions Engineering teams, and weekly team meetings/ quarterly business reviews

Present technical topics and successful wins: help establish and enhance demonstration material showcasing the solution Share technical challenges, ways to overcome and interact with teams to ask questions, share experiences, and exchange ideas

Research technical topics impacting the industry to grow as an industry leader

Support trade shows, networking events including ThousandEyes Connect events

Contribute to blog and social media posts

Suggest and contribute to white-papers and case-studies

Interface with Marketing, Product Management and Engineering

Participate, drive and provide feedback, solutions and enhancements on internal and external solution beta programs, from hands-on use and customer interaction

Coordinate with Customer Success in providing post-sales support (training, deployment, etc.) Encourage and guide customers to utilize Customer Success as an extension of their NOC to help ensure success

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of either Partner Presales experience, or as a Presales at a system integrator company

Excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Strong understanding of application and network protocols (e.g., HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP)

Experience with application and network performance analysis solutions

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Javascript)

Fluency in German and English

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of application and network infrastructures

Experience with packet analysis of network and application protocols
