Commercial Loan Operations Manager We are open to internal candidates being in different branches as long as there is sustainable space. Position Summary
Provides accurate and timely support to the lending staff for processing commercial loans and perfecting collateral while ensuring applicable policies, procedures and regulations are followed. Interaction with internal and external customers is expected to provide an exceptional customer experience at all times. Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Processes and maintains commercial loan documentation and files, in a timely and accurate manner. Has oversight and accountability for commercial loan operations. Serves as the Bank’s subject matter expert relating to commercial loan processing. Compiles, sorts and verifies accuracy of data used for the completion of loan documentation. Request title and lien searches to perfect collateral. Establishes and organizes credit files. Makes contacts to resolve questions, inconsistencies or missing data. Establishes and organizes the credit file and forwards the closed loan file to Loan Administration/Support. Answers external and internal customer inquiries for loan questions, ensuring prompt and accurate problem resolution occurs to ensure satisfactory customer service. Secondary Accountabilities
Is well-versed on new developments and trends pertaining to related regulations. Seeks opportunities to strengthen ties between the Bank and the community and maintains a positive, professional, and respectful image of the Bank. Performs other duties as may be assigned by Board or Supervisor. Role Qualifications
Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Banking related education is preferred Experience One year banking and/or loan operations experience is preferred Other Skills & Abilities Proficient computer skills to include Word and Excel Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and work quality Effective problem solving and decision making skills Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities in a deadline oriented environment Proficient verbal and written communication skills Analytical and problem solving skills The ability to contribute in a team environment, ensuring that departmental and individual goals are met Performance Measures Accuracy of work Timeliness of work Ability to meet productivity standards Adherence to all applicable Bank procedures Working Conditions
Work is performed largely within the Bank, community, and at customer sites with limited chance for personal injury. Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration required. Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. Work hours are generally during normal business hours.
