We’re partnering with an accounting firm seeking a Japanese Bilingual Tax Manager. Must have a CPA or EA license and 5 years of tax related accounting experience.

Japanese Bilingual Tax Manager or Sr. Tax Manager Location:

Remote with preference for candidates who can work in the Eastern Time zone

Full-time Direct Hire

Responsibilities

Review complex tax returns (corporate, partnership, expatriate, dual status) and oversee correspondence with tax authorities.

Research and interpret tax regulations, guide staff on technical issues.

Review transfer pricing reports and tax provisions; prepare advanced analyses when needed.

Lead client meetings, address inquiries, and identify additional service opportunities.

Manage multiple engagements, budgets, and deadlines while supervising Staff and Seniors.

Coach junior team members, provide feedback, and support a collaborative work environment.

Stay current on tax developments and ensure effective use of technology.

Qualifications

Japanese and English bilingual level language skill required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

CPA or EA required.

5+ years of public accounting tax experience.

Experience preparing various individual and business tax returns.

Strong tax software and MS Office skills.
