Role Description P A Architect is seeking a full‑time Architectural Drafter to assist in the production of construction drawings for residential and commercial projects. This role involves drafting architectural preliminary drawings, construction documentation, and coordinated drawing sets across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
This is a production‑focused role with opportunities to learn and grow technically over time. The ideal candidate is organized, coachable, and comfortable working through revisions and redlines in a collaborative office environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drafting architectural preliminary drawings and construction documents
Producing architectural, structural, and MEP drawing sheets in Revit and CAD
Coordinating drawings across disciplines within the office
Revising drawings based on redlines and internal review
Assisting with as‑built drawings and field measurements
Supporting occasional site visits for inspections and documentation
Maintaining drawing standards and file organization
This is an in‑office position located in Davie, Florida.
Qualifications Required:
Junior‑level drafting experience or relevant internship experience
AutoCAD experience
Ability to draft construction documentation
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and grow in a production environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
Experience drafting structural drawings
Basic understanding of structural systems
