Essential Duties and Responsibilities as a Part‑Time Leasing Consultant

Touring and presenting the community in a compelling way and assisting prospective residents with finding the right apartment home.

Managing the leasing/renewal process from start to finish.

Maintaining knowledge of the local market.

Inspecting vacant apartment homes to ensure they are ready for new residents.

Planning and coordinating resident functions throughout the year.

Building strong relationships with residents by providing outstanding customer service.

Working up to 30 hours weekly.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written in Spanish & English.

A clear understanding of business concepts, processes, and strategic thinking principles.

Comprehensive knowledge of multifamily operations including people management, financial reporting, problem‑solving, sales, maintenance and resident relations.

Ability to access all apartment homes and community areas to show the home to potential residents and inspect all areas.

Ability to visually inspect apartment homes, grounds, and other aspects of the community to ensure standards are met.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties and responsibilities.

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer, and attend meetings at various sites.

Education

High School Diploma required.

1–3 years of experience in Property Management.

Experience in MS Office Word/Excel and basic computer technology skills; OneSite experience Preferred.
