
Portfolio Analyst II

The Portfolio Analyst II will support the portfolio, relationship management and business development activities of the Renewable Energy lending team within the Corporate Banking Group.
Role Responsibilities Manage Construction and Term Loan Origination for Solar and Battery Energy Storage Loans:
Prepare Excel pro forma financial models to accurately reflect solar project finance cash flow. Work with solar and battery storage developers to confirm and understand assumptions. Analyze cash flows, size loans, and prepare written analysis.
Collect, organize, and review borrower due diligence information required for underwriting and closing.
Portfolio Management
Serve as a contact for borrowers, who are primarily solar and battery energy storage developers.
Work closely with the loan servicing and closing teams to ensure all servicing requirements are properly understood, accurately completed, and performed in a timely manner.
Monitor quarterly payments through bank-controlled accounts and work jointly with Servicing and Borrower to resolve issues.
Monitor all aspects of borrower performance, including solar monthly production tracking and preparation of covenant calculations.
Track, review and prepare covenant waivers, annual reviews, loan amendments, and other credit materials as required.
Collect and review borrower documentation for solar installation funding requests and provide documentation to fund such requests.
Special Projects
Stay abreast of renewable energy industry trends.
Research and analyze new tax credit structures and renewable energy technologies.
Attend industry trade shows and conferences.
Minimum Qualifications Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling experience required. Experience and a demonstrated interest in solar/renewable energy a plus. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and must be able to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Education Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field with 3-5 years of experience in a quantitative position required.
Work Environment Hybrid – Employees will work from both remote and onsite locations. Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office and are required to be onsite at least two (2) days per week, specifically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Certain positions or business needs may require additional in‑office days.
