As a Client Relationship Manager at Cummings Properties in our Beverly office, no two days will be the same. You’ll connect with a diverse range of clients—from international corporations to local entrepreneurs—and develop long-lasting relationships built on trust. Your role will be that of a strategic partner, working alongside key decision-makers to ensure satisfaction while identifying new growth opportunities.

At Cummings Properties’ 2+ million square foot Cummings Center campus in Beverly, you will oversee the Company’s relationships with diverse client businesses. As a strategic partner and trusted advisor to key real estate decision makers, you will ensure client satisfaction and develop successful long-term leasing relationships in a very fast-paced environment.

Cummings Properties is a stable, well-established company, offering extensive in-house resources such as design, construction, and property management. You’ll collaborate with a broad range of talented professionals to deliver exceptional service and meet clients’ needs.

This is a self-directed role, so you’ll have the independence to manage your time, but you’ll also be part of a supportive team. Here’s a look at what a typical day might entail:

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and pursue growth, renewal, and referral opportunities.

Meeting with clients to get to know their business goals, understand their expansion or leasing needs and identify the perfect commercial real estate space.

Drive collaboration among internal departments providing maintenance, design, construction, legal, and other services to optimize clients’ experience.

Use expert knowledge of the Company’s real estate offerings, policies, and procedures to solve problems and build credibility.

Addressing facility issues, managing maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.

Review lease history; draft and negotiate leases; deliver top-notch service; facilitate tenant improvements; provide quality control for maintenance issues.

While commercial real estate experience isn’t required, to thrive in this role you’ll need the following:

Qualifications

At least five years of success in a sales/account management role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Negotiation experience in any industry

Analytical, problem-solving, listening, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

A problem-solving mindset, especially for facility maintenance and ensuring tenant satisfaction

Drive, emotional intelligence, and persistence—along with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for client success

Please note: The base salary represents just one component of the Company's comprehensive compensation package. In addition to base pay, employees may qualify for variable compensation, which can include unlimited performance-based bonuses and long-term incentive opportunities.

This is a 100% onsite role, not a remote or hybrid position.
