Compensation:

$51,023.02–$81,568.03 annually (Step 1–20). The typical starting range is between $51,023.02 and $56,319.95 DOE.

Schedule:

Full-Time, 7 AM to 6 PM, Mon–Thurs.

Position Summary The Assistant Property Manager assists with the day‑to‑day operations of one or more SNVRHA Affordable Housing properties. Responsibilities include administrative duties, showing units, lease‑ups, renewals, delinquent rent collection, move‑outs, and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect vacant and occupied rental units to ensure proper operation.

Perform office duties, including updating and maintaining records.

Schedule third‑party vendors for major work orders and pest control.

Show rental units to prospective tenants.

Assign and close out work orders for maintenance staff.

Post and mail notices to tenants as needed.

Enter applications into the background system (PeopleTrail).

Submit eviction paperwork.

Maintain the waitlist/interest list for properties.

Eligible to participate in the collective bargaining unit (SEIU).

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Two years relevant affordable housing residential property management experience.

Two years customer service experience.

Two years clerical/administrative experience.

Excellent communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, problem‑solving, crisis management, and organizational skills.

Licenses and Certifications:

Valid Nevada driver’s license or ability to obtain one; Certificate in Property Management, Fair Housing, and Tenant and Landlord Law.

Physical Ability:

Requires seeing, talking, or hearing; continuous gripping or feeling; typing/repetitive movement; frequent standing, sitting, reaching; occasional climbing, balancing, walking; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching; may lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience preparing or maintaining tenant files in compliance with audit standards.

Experience with Low‑Income Housing Tax Credit.

Experience using property management or housing software.

Strong customer service skills in a diverse, public‑facing environment.

Experience working in a housing authority, governmental agency, or non‑profit organization.
