
The Junior Accountant is responsible for filing and paying various state tax and informational returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance in those states. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic workload in a fast-paced environment.

File state informational returns File state tax returns and manage tax payments Assist in assembling and organizing data required for state tax audits Respond promptly and professionally to state tax professionals to ensure compliant status Support Senior Financial Analyst with miscellaneous tax projects Support accounting department cross-functionally Organizational Alignment
Reports to Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications
Microsoft Office: Basic to Intermediate – Excel-heavy work with VBA/macros Years of Experience: 0-1 year ERP knowledge: Prior working experience with an ERP system is a plus School level – Degree level: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting or other related. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and negotiation skills Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
