
Senior Benefits Specialist – Direct Hire
About the Role:
We’re seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist to partner with our client's Total Rewards Manager in designing and administering competitive benefits and leave programs. This role ensures compliance, operational excellence, and a positive employee experience while supporting the organization’s talent strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
Manage health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), and other benefits programs. Lead Open Enrollment, advise employees, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate records.
Leave Administration:
Oversee FMLA, ADA accommodations, and company leave programs. Serve as primary contact for employees and leadership, ensuring compliance and smooth return-to-work processes.
Workers’ Compensation:
Administer claims, coordinate with carriers, manage audits, and support workplace safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
4–5+ years in benefits and leave administration
Strong compliance knowledge: FMLA, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, PPACA
Proficiency with ADP, HRIS, Microsoft Office, and applicant tracking systems
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
