The primary responsibility of the CRE Vendor Manager is to develop and maintain vendor management governance, policy, tools and standards to enable effective and efficient vendor management in CRE. The CRE Vendor Manager will be the main interface and have oversight for CRE’s top 20 vendors.

Responsibilities Opportunity Development

Aggregate office spend across functions to drive economies of scale

Standardize scope and service provision to level up service delivery and customer experience

Collate across geographies or categories to deliver savings, improved terms, fewer vendors, and higher quality

Policy, Compliance and Risk Management

Supports the development and maintenance of standard Vendor Management operating policies and procedures, tools and templates to ensure compliance and sourcing excellence

Acts as change agent for any compliance or new policy rollouts, including training and communications to the function

Ensures CRE’s adherence to company risk standards

Liaise with the Equinix CRE Business contract manager, Equinix Legal and the vendor to negotiate and agree all terms and condition amendments

Ensures use of appropriate contracting templates

Uses tools to prove, track and report compliance

Compiles and manages CRE vendor database (to include key dates, contract status and spend)

Change Management and Communication

Creates high quality and compelling presentations to communicate the Vendor Management priorities and processes

Constructs action proposals based on analysis of relevant data

Maintains relationship with Regional Procurement where vendors are shared between Ops and CRE

Metrics

Designs, develops, and implements key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively measure, manage, and visually show the impact and value of CRE

Manages the standard definition and calculation of all Procurement KPIs/metrics

Manages the process and system to accurately calculate all metrics by region, commodity or cost center organization

Supports the development and maintenance of processes and systems to easily gather and maintain savings pipelines by region, commodity or cost center organization

Ensures data integrity and measurement to agreed to savings definition standards

Supports the coordination of CRE participation in benchmarking studies in conjunction with FP&A

Analyzes CRE performance against Best‑in‑Class organizations and advises on which improvement opportunities to pursue

Supplier Management

Ensures vendor performance is consistent with agreed contract parameters

Acts as Category Manager for given categories, approving/declining requests for new vendors within these categories

Manage POs and payments for top 20 vendors

Ensures all vendors who perform Medium and High‑risk work are aware of the RAMS and PTW procedures required

Participates in key suppliers' quarterly business reviews (QBRs)

Sustainable Procurement

Participates in key suppliers' quarterly business reviews (QBRs)

Qualifications

Degree in relevant subject (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Procurement)

Proven negotiation and contract management skills

Proficient in English Language (written and spoken)

Experience in either an outsourced or inhouse Facilities Management department

Proficiency in procurement methodologies and practices

Data analytics – able to conduct statistical analysis

Global experience

Ability to independently develop and manage resources and programs

Communication skills – timely delivery of professional communications to customers and team members

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location(s) is:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI: 103,000 - 155,000 USD / Annual

Poland - Warsaw Office WAO: 173,000 - 277,000 PLN / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full‑time position determined by role, level, and location.

The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
