Velociti is looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Paralegal to play a critical role within our Legal, People, and Risk Office (LPRO). This is more than a support role—it’s an opportunity to be a trusted partner to business leaders, shape legal operations, and drive efficiency across a growing organization.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy managing complex legal matters, and want visibility across contracts, compliance, governance, and M&A activity, this role puts you at the center of it all.
What You’ll Do As a Senior Corporate Paralegal, you’ll provide hands‑on support across a wide range of legal and compliance functions, working closely with the Chief Legal Officer, internal stakeholders, and external counsel.
Commercial Contracts & Business Support
Draft, review, and edit commercial agreements including NDAs, customer and vendor contracts, and amendments
Partner with business teams to ensure contracts align with operational, financial, and compliance goals
Own and administer Velociti’s contract lifecycle management system (Ironclad), from intake through execution, renewals, and terminations
Corporate Governance & Entity Management
Maintain legal entity records, organizational charts, registrations, and annual filings
Ensure corporate records and legal repositories are accurate, audit‑ready, and well‑organized
Mergers & Acquisitions
Support M&A transactions, including due diligence, closings, and post‑closing integration
Coordinate transaction documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely execution
Compliance & Risk Support
Assist with corporate compliance programs, policies, licenses, and permits
Support annual compliance training initiatives and tracking
LPRO Operations & Collaboration
Provide project management support for department initiatives and process improvements
Track metrics and deadlines to support reporting and strategic planning
Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external legal counsel
Support day‑to‑day department operations as needed
What Success Looks Like in This Role You’ll be successful if you:
Manage contracts and the full contract lifecycle accurately and efficiently
Maintain compliant, up‑to‑date corporate records and legal entities
Balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Contribute to continuous improvement of department processes and operations
Serve as a reliable, proactive partner to the business
What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent professional experience
7+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department
Strong experience with commercial contracts, NDAs, and amendments
Hands‑on experience supporting corporate governance and entity maintenance
Solid understanding of U.S. commercial contracting and corporate governance
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general office technology
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate cross‑functionally
Preferred Experience
Experience with a contract lifecycle management system (Ironclad preferred)
Exposure to entity formation, maintenance, and M&A transactions
On‑site role based in Riverside, MO
In‑person collaboration is key, with occasional work‑from‑home flexibility as approved
Primarily office‑based with minimal physical demands
