Job Summary This role will drive the design process, from concept to delivery. This person will own the design of Performance Socks for the Stance license. The Designer will be responsible for strategy based on consumer and channel insights to drive long‑term customer value by delivering premium quality, on‑brand / on‑trend newness, and positive collaboration with Merchandising, Development, and Marketing.
Essential Duties
Balance creative vision with volume drivers to achieve revenue performance & profitability.
Partner with Merchandising and Marketing to drive results through product marketing.
Seek ways to leverage existing products and innovations throughout the design process.
Drive delivery against all design dates and gates throughout our GTM cycle.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Merchandising, Development, Marketing, and E‑Commerce teams to ensure product features and design intent are clearly communicated across all touchpoints.
Introduce innovative product ideas to drive the Socks business with clear consumer needs.
Contribute to the seasonal color and pattern direction.
Knowledge of customer behavior, market trends, and future trend forecasting.
Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company's needs and operations.
Attend required training workshops via ADP designated by the supervisor or manager for upskilling or any other performance‑related functions based on productivity and monthly check‑ins.
Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Product Design, Industrial Design, Textile Design, or related field.
A proven track record in designing products with consumers in mind to achieve revenue goals.
5‑7 years’ experience in circular knit designing socks.
Experience working with wholesale and direct channels.
Strong graphic and print creation background.
Skilled in sketching, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D visualization tools.
Portfolio showing performance product design, with emphasis on knitting innovation and functional solutions.
Strategic thinker who can build strong partnerships with internal cross‑functional teams and vendors.
Strong decision maker with proven effective communication and presentation skills to gain credibility with cross‑functional stakeholders and external partners.
Able to hit key calendar milestones.
Proven combination of business sense and consumer awareness.
