Kitchen Tune‑Up Brooklyn is seeking a motivated, personable, and detail‑oriented
Sales & Design Consultant
to join our kitchen remodeling team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative, in‑home sales, has a strong design sensibility, and is comfortable guiding clients through a high‑touch remodeling process from first conversation through project completion.
You will manage and grow a sales pipeline by responding to inbound leads, conducting in‑home consultations, preparing customized proposals, and helping clients make confident design and purchasing decisions. Experience with
2020 Design
and/or
in‑home remodeling sales
is a strong plus. Applicants with
design and/or construction experience , particularly in kitchen and bath remodeling, are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and follow up on active leads
Proactively generate new leads through referrals, networking, social media, and community outreach
Conduct in‑home consultations to assess client goals, style preferences, space, and budget
Guide clients through kitchen layout, cabinet, countertop, backsplash, hardware, and finish selections
Prepare accurate proposals, estimates, and visual presentations
Clearly communicate scope of work, timelines, pricing, and financing options
Close sales and secure signed contracts
Maintain organized CRM records and client communication
Stay engaged with clients during installation and follow up post‑project
Request referrals, testimonials, and online reviews
Qualifications
Experience in sales, interior design, or home remodeling (kitchen & bath preferred)
Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
Good design eye for color coordination, layout, and functionality
Comfortable using CRM and design/estimating software (2020, ProKitchen, or similar a plus)
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple clients independently
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
