Responsibilities The Technical Designer is responsible for the creation and management of technical specifications for all in-house costume product.

Create technical specification packages for all direct sourced apparel/accessory product in men’s, women’s, kids, and infants, wovens and knits

Collaborate with cross functional teams on development through production

Communicate with factories to send tech packs, answer fit questions, and execute problem‑solving initiatives during production

Conduct fittings and take detailed notes and photos to execute fit comments and pattern corrections

Issue grade rules to ensure sizing consistency for all direct sourced product

Complete factory pattern corrections as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; 5-10 years experience as a technical designer in the apparel industry

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)

Experience with PLM systems preferred; CLO 3D experience a plus

Proven experience collaborating with overseas vendors and manufacturing partners

Strong knowledge of apparel construction, materials, and production processes

Highly organized with the ability to manage timelines and prioritize multiple projects

Clear, effective communicator with strong cross‑functional collaboration skills

The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scopeand responsibilities of the position.

Pay Range $75,000 - $85,000
