Hours: Full‑time position at 30 hrs/week – Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (scheduled dates and hours are subject to change at the employer’s discretion).

Pay & Benefits Hiring pay range: $17.00‑$22.00 per hour.

SUMMARY Leasing Consultants are responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move‑ins, and lease renewals. The incumbent interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy, including generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation, and completing move‑in paperwork and procedures. They support our employee‑first culture and exemplify our core values of relationships, development, quality, and responsibility.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Answer incoming phone inquiries regarding available apartments; provide all requested information and encourage prospects to schedule an appointment to visit the property.

Provide tours of available apartments that meet prospects’ needs when they visit the property.

Inform prospects about the advantages of renting from Bigos Management.

Maintain a working knowledge of the competition in the area by utilizing only public information (i.e., property websites & internet searches).

Follow‑up via telephone with prospects who have not made a decision and continue to sell the Bigos Management property.

Qualify all prospective renters using company‑approved procedures.

Move‑in new renters, discuss lease and apartment complex rules, and conduct a move‑in inspection.

Move‑out departing renters, including conducting a move‑out inspection.

Follow‑up with residents on renewal of their lease.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required.

1‑2 years of customer service and/or sales experience required.

Previous leasing experience preferred.

Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to use tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous manner when dealing with co‑workers and the public.

Organizational and time‑management skills.

Basic computer literacy (email, web applications).

Real Estate licenses must not be active while working in this role.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.

Strength to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds.

Vision to read printed material and a computer screen.

Hearing and speech to communicate in‑person and over the telephone.

Must be able to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions, including climbing stairs and walking the hallways and common areas.

WORK ENVIRONMENT Office working conditions, on property.
