is a high-end residential interior design firm with clients throughout the Bay Area and elsewhere. We seek an experienced project manager/interior designer to join our team as a full-time staff member.
We believe in teamwork and mentoring. All positions work from the office, not home, every day.
DUTIES
Plans, elevations and RCPs in AutoCAD
Select and write FF&E schedules
Obtain quotes for orders; review for proper lead time, pricing delivery and freight costs; follow-up on information pertinent to specifications and orders.
Prepares proposals and proposal packages including written descriptions of items
Prepare job sheets, verify job sheet information and accuracy, obtain approvals from Senior Designers.
Processes purchase orders and perform status tracking
Get approvals on CFAs, finish samples and merchandise and follow up with outstanding order issuesli>
Coordinate with vendors, clients, architects and consultants
Inspecting items at the warehouse and fabricators
Interaction with builders, architects, lighting and audio visual design firms
Specifying window treatment details for estimates, etc.
Responsible for assisting with all day-to-day project management aspects as required to keep things on track
REQUIRED TO APPLY
Minimum of 5 years' experience in interior design, including at least 2 years' experience working at a high-end residential design firm
Very strong AutoCAD skills including drafting furniture plans, detailed elevations, custom cabinets, and custom furniture
Must have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture or Furniture Design
High level of detail orientation with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Good work ethic, positive, and "do-what-it-takes" attitude
Clear communication skills, including the ability to correspond with excellent English grammar and spelling
Increasing responsibility is awarded based on skill level. We invest in our people and seek individuals who want to grow with the firm.
Willingness to work at an office with your team members, not remote
COMPENSATION
