Our client, a firm integrating the building & manufacturing of commercial, AG and industrial buildings, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their team. As a Mechanical designer, you will be part of the Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CAD drafting and design capabilities with an emphasis on architectural or construction documentation including proven skills in the use of REVIT CAD software. Candidates with visa restrictions or requiring sponsorships WILL NOT be considered for this role. Candidates located in the upper Fox Valley regions of Wisconsin will be given top considerations. The position will begin on a contract status with intent to eventually hire as a direct employee.

Key Responsibilities
Generating structural steel fabrication drawings and construction plans
Fluent with CAD software packages including specifically REVIT and AutoCAD
Duties include some field verification work of as-built and work-in-progress conditions
Manage workloads that will require handling multiple projects requiring attention to deadlines
This role is responsible for reviewing architectural and structural plans for quality control
Requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of a 2-year associate degree in a related field
Candidates should have an additional 5 years’ experience of “real-world” experience
General knowledge of commercial construction
Attendance at project-related meetings and occasional field measuring and training events
