Director of Health & Wellness Operations . The Director of Health and Wellness Operations serves as a vital bridge between high-level clinical expertise and the strategic administration of school-wide wellness. Oversee school‑wide health compliance (immunizations, physicals, etc.) and lead the optimization of the Magnus and August Schools platforms to ensure rigorous data tracking, progress monitoring, and confidential record‑keeping.
Serve as the primary clinical lead for health emergencies; design and implement standard operating procedures for crisis response and update the school’s medical crisis manuals annually.
Act as the school’s official liaison to the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and maintain partnerships with external medical consultants, community health organizations, and other independent school health offices.
Propose, revise, and update comprehensive school‑wide health policies and health and wellness programming and initiatives.
Health & Wellness Programming and Education
Apply a public health lens to the school community by designing wellness initiatives and workshops for students, faculty, and parents that focus on preventative care and healthy community behaviors.

Represent the health and nursing perspective in "PolySupports" and other student‑of‑concern meetings, collaborating with counselors and learning specialists to provide a holistic view of student health.
Facilitate ongoing Health Team meetings involving counselors, nurses, and health teachers to drive the design and implementation of proactive wellness programming and school‑wide health initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Athletics, Athletic Director, athletic trainers, and PE department to ensure health education is reinforced in physical activity spaces and that safety protocols for athletes are clinically sound and consistently applied.
