Responsibilities Greet and assist customers, both in-person and over the phone, with their automotive parts needs. Accurately identify and locate parts using catalogs, computer systems, and product knowledge. Process customer orders, including taking payments, arranging for delivery, or ensuring parts are ready for pickup. Maintain an organized and clean parts counter area. Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting cycle counts. Build rapport with customers, ensuring a positive and helpful experience. Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs.
Requirements Previous experience as a parts counterperson or in a similar automotive parts role. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency for inventory and order management. A positive attitude and a willingness to help. High school diploma or equivalent required.
