The Director of Wellness is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Newark, OH. In this position, the individual will oversee and lead the health and wellness programs for the community's residents. Responsibilities include managing wellness initiatives, supervising staff, coordinating training programs, developing and managing departmental budgets, and ensuring the highest standard of care. The Director will ensure programs and services align with the residents' needs and support a vibrant and healthy lifestyle within the community. Qualifications
Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with residents, team members, and other stakeholders. Expertise in Health & Wellness and Wellness program development to oversee programs that align with residents' needs. Experience with Budgeting and resource management to maintain cost‑effective and efficient operations. Proven ability in Training and staff development to ensure high‑quality service delivery from the team. Leadership, organizational, and decision‑making capabilities suited for managing a wellness team and programs. A background in nursing, healthcare, or wellness management is highly desirable. Proficiency in regulatory compliance and understanding of senior living standards is a plus.
