General Purpose
Accurately and efficiently process and record routine transactions for bank customers including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments and money transfers. Promote and advise on bank products and service. Provide superior customer service one would expect at a community bank. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Receive and count cash Reconcile cash drawer Identify customers, validate and cash checks Accept cash and checks for deposit and verify accuracy of deposit slips Process cash withdrawals Perform specialized task such as preparing cashier’s checks, personal money orders, gift cards, license stickers, etc Perform services for customers such as ordering checks and debit cards Receive and verify loan payments Answer customer questions regarding bank products and services Record all transactions promptly, accurately and in compliance with bank policy Attempt to resolve issues with customer accounts Initiate and open new accounts Understand, explain, advise and promote bank products and services to customers Answer phones in a professional manner Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent Knowledge of customer service skills Some computer skills Previous on-the-job training preferred. Key Competencies
