We are seeking a full-time and PRN Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) to join our behavioral health team at a licensed psychiatric hospital overlooking Lake Galloway in Auburn Hills, MI.
Responsibilities
Provide Recreational Therapy services, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic activities to promote positive behavioral changes.
Develop individualized treatment goals, evaluate patient progress, and document outcomes in accordance with standards.
Participate in treatment team conferences, assist with discharge planning, and serve as a role model for patients and students.
For full-time roles, act as a clinical instructor and contribute to the educational development of students.
Qualifications Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, CTRS certification, and preferred experience in psychiatric settings.
