Leasing Agent
to join our team at a large, professionally managed multifamily community in
Houston, Texas . This role is responsible for driving occupancy, providing exceptional resident experiences, and supporting daily leasing and administrative operations for a 1,179‑unit property. The ideal candidate is highly organized, sales‑driven, and passionate about delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet, tour, and qualify prospective residents in a professional and welcoming manner
Effectively present apartment homes, amenities, and community features to close leases and meet occupancy goals
Manage inbound calls, online inquiries, and walk‑in traffic promptly and professionally
Process rental applications, verifications, and lease documentation accurately
Maintain knowledge of pricing, availability, and market trends to maximize leasing success
Ensure model units, common areas, and tour routes are clean, organized, and show‑ready
Provide excellent customer service to current residents and assist with renewal efforts
Support community marketing initiatives, outreach events, and online reputation management
Maintain accurate records in property management software and follow company compliance standards
Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to ensure a positive resident experience
Qualifications
Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred (multifamily experience strongly preferred)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and closing skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
Proficiency with property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, or similar) and Microsoft Office
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Availability to work weekends as needed
