This Position Will

Responsible for day-to-day operations of the program including but not limited to the coordination, supervision, development, and implementation of the delivery of special education services for the Therapeutic Day School (LINC) program located in Woodstock, IL. Serves as a primary liaison with local public school districts/ other referral sources and is responsible for relationship and service delivery development. Fully understands the needs of local public school districts specific to serving E/BD populations and generates proposals for unique partnerships and service development between Allendale and LEAs. Primary responsibility of Educational Directors is the improvement of instruction and student outcomes. Consequently s/he will spend the majority of his or her time on matters of student/family engagement, curriculum specialized development, therapeutic model delivery, staff development/training/supervision and school environment improvement/safety activities. Serves as a member of the Agency leadership team(s) and participates in Agency referral and placement activities specific to the therapeutic day school programs as well as serves as a member of Agency QI committees, specifically Outcomes. Demonstrates competence in and commitment to Agency treatment philosophy, training models and organization structures; serves as a trainer as needed/appropriate. REQUIRED: Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, Special Education, or related field. Illinois Administrative license/endorsement Illinois LBS1 license Prior ED/BD classroom/teaching experience or supervisory experience in special education setting Valid driver’s license with a good driving record Salary
