Job Description
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects. Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine project scope and budget. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to acquire competitive pricing. Manage the bidding process and ensure timely submission of proposals. Monitor market trends and material costs to provide up-to-date estimates. Participate in project meetings to provide insight and support during the pre-construction phase. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all estimation processes. The Successful Applicant
The successful Senior Estimator should have:
Proven experience in commercial construction estimation within the business services industry. Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple projects. Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with various stakeholders. A strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and market trends. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. What's on Offer
