
Position Overview
Legacy Village of Provo is seeking an accomplished
Director of Sales and Marketing
to lead all sales, marketing, and outreach efforts for our senior living community. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue and occupancy, managing the full sales lifecycle, strengthening professional referral relationships, and ensuring alignment with Western States & Legacy Retirement Communities' hospitality standards and
Personal Touch Culture.
The Director of Sales and Marketing serves as a key member of the community leadership team and plays a critical role in positioning Legacy Village of Provo as a preferred senior living choice in the local market.
Essential Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Occupancy Growth
Drive community revenue and occupancy by managing all aspects of the sales process from inquiry through move-in
Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone, email, web, and walk-ins (within 24 hours or sooner when possible)
Conduct in-person and virtual tours and effectively close sales
Maintain an active and healthy sales pipeline using the Sales Board
Analyze sales data daily to forecast occupancy and develop weekly action plans
Meet or exceed established revenue and occupancy goals
CRM & Sales Process Management
Oversee daily use and accuracy of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Ensure consistent documentation of inquiries, follow-ups, deposits, move-ins, move-outs, and transfers
Track referral activity and determine appropriate follow-up strategies
Provide weekly sales plan updates using the GROW template
Ensure adherence to Legacy Sales Standards, including 3n3 initiative, Friends and Family referrals, and time-in-sales-zone expectations
Marketing & Brand Development
Partner with the Legacy marketing team to develop and execute marketing plans
Support initiatives to increase brand visibility, community engagement, and Google reviews
Provide content for social media and assist with creation of marketing collateral
Ensure marketing materials align with brand standards and are properly stocked
Assist with planning and execution of targeted marketing campaigns and community events
Referral & Community Outreach
Build and maintain purposeful relationships with professional referral partners and key influencers
Participate in networking events, expos, health fairs, and professional associations
Coordinate intentional outreach efforts to generate consistent referrals and move-in activity
Track appointments and outreach activity in the Marketing Health Board Leadership & Collaboration
Supervise sales team members as applicable (e.g., Manager of Sales and Marketing, Move-In Coordinator)
Collaborate with community leadership and department heads to support sales objectives
Coach and engage associates to support occupancy goals and a unified sales culture
Operational & Strategic Support
Assist the Executive Director with ensuring the community is consistently staged, market-ready, and presentable
Ensure compliance with move-in documentation, company policies, and state licensing regulations
Manage the sales and marketing budget within established guidelines
Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute the annual Sales and Marketing Plan
Monitor competitive market trends and report findings to leadership
Maintain confidentiality of resident and company information at all times
Qualifications
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences
Confident, relationship-focused professional with excellent listening skills
Strong organizational, time management, and independent work capabilities
Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment and manage shifting priorities
Proficient in basic computer applications and CRM systems
Team-oriented leader who collaborates effectively across departments
Demonstrated commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement
