We are looking for innovative Casualty Underwriting Specialists to enhance our Jersey City team. In this role, you will develop, manage, and maintain a profitable portfolio of primary casualty business. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with wholesale agents & brokers to identify high-quality submission opportunities.
Assess pricing and coverage terms for new and renewing business.
Track the performance of newly underwritten business.
Evaluate the performance of existing business and make informed decisions regarding renewals, pricing, and coverage changes.
Achieve production, marketing, and profitability objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor actions to evaluate the desirability of risks.
Skills & Experience 5+ years
of experience in commercial primary casualty underwriting.
In-depth knowledge of commercial casualty underwriting coverages.
Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed risk decisions.
Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
Excellent organization skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$125,000 - $200,000 Additional Benefits:
