Learn more about our services, industry experience and culture at weaver.com. Position Profile Weaver is looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our growing firm. In this role you will primarily focus on assessing strategy and risk, including program development, technical security testing, and tabletop exercises. You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop strategic cybersecurity programs for our clients. This includes analyzing current security posture, identifying vulnerabilities and threats, and providing tailored recommendations to mitigate risks. You will assess the effectiveness of security controls, coordinate penetration testing, and evaluate incident response capabilities by examining the impact of real-world cyber incidents. This role allows for remote work as part of our virtual office or can be hybrid in our physical office locations. Both options require travel to client sites. Responsibilities

Assess strategy and risk for clients, including program development and technical security testing Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop strategic cybersecurity programs Analyze current security posture, identify vulnerabilities and threats, and provide tailored mitigation recommendations Assess effectiveness of security controls and coordinate penetration testing Evaluate incident response capabilities by analyzing real-world cyber incidents Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field CISSP or CISM certification 4+ years of Consulting, Technology, IT, or Security experience Significant experience with design, implementation, and operation of security principles, capabilities, and controls Strong communication and writing skills Experience leading client interviews Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders Knowledge of common information security standards such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, CIS Critical Security Controls, ISO 27001/27002, and MITRE ATT&CK Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing security controls for multi-tier solutions and managing assets, data, networks, and applications Understanding of Active Directory-based Identity and Access Management, IDaaS, Federation technologies; including MS 365 Experience integrating security technologies into architectures (identity & access management, IDS/IPS, security monitoring, data encryption) Familiarity with REST API and microservices Technical understanding of virtualization, cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure; experience with PaaS and IaaS security configurations Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff Strong relationship management and practice development skills Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients Cloud security certifications such as AZ-300 or equivalent Master’s degree in MIS or related field Weaver Benefits
